She looked at the house over the white picket fence. It was a beautiful house. Juliet as she loved to call herself after her hero imagined how lovely it would be when she lived there with her handsome husband and two beautiful children....no four because she would adopt two. They would have family night every Friday and watch a movie or play a great game. They would have parties with thier great friends and thier kids would be friends too they would be so happy. It would just be like Juliet said her family was back home, a beautiful family like Juliets, she imagined that Juliets house looked just like the house ovet the white picket fence and that her family looked like the one standing in front of it. She couldn't wait to meet Juliets family they seemed so nice from the great stories she heard. She smiled to herself because these thoughts made her happy, they made her forget all the fear that she constantly lived in. But she did not know that the fear was about to become a reality.....gun shots first in a distance and then louder. She put the magazine with the beautiful family over the white picket fence into the little bag that Juliet had given her ad then she rushed and locked the door to her private little hut. Her heart beat so fast and very loud. She could hear the screams of the other villagers as they were being dragged away and killed by the terrorist group. They had been expecting this. Her village had been promoting girl child education and it was not allowed this made the terrorists angry and they had threatened them. Juliet had said she would take her away to her country. But Juliet had been taken away by her counrty for fear of her safety. She sat and cried in her hut so scared for her life. She prayed to her God that he may show her mercy. And then the hut door was blown open. Shiryly after that alll her dreams ended. There was not going to be a beautiful family over a white picket fence. There would be no beautiful children, of which two were adopted. It was just a dark dream now. Because a little girl in Africa who had once called herself Juliet because of her hero was dead.
